Catalyst 10 December 2008 I finally watched the episode last night (oh nooo what was the title?)I thought it was great episode but I can't help thinking PARADOX!!!Claire had the "Catalyst" but then they went back in time and Hiro got it instead so how did Claire ever have it to begin with? I thought it was a great episode despite the mind F*** !I loved watching Hiro interact with his mother from the past, I loved that old man Petreli got shot in the head, but I was dissapointed in Peter for not doing it. But I like Sylar being evil again, after all that is why we like him for his evilness. So what does this all mean? If they keep going back and changing things I will never be able to follow what "actually" happenedMy other question would be.....if the "syrum" works and we see that it does because of the...

Volume three of Heroes, entitled Villains, came to a fitting end last night with the thirteenth episode Dual (or Duality, depending where you look). Although this episode in particular did pretty much kick ass, my overall feeling towards this volume is, thank God it's over! Thirteen episodes and I'm still not entirely sure who are the villains and who are the good guys, which I guess was the point, but its a very unsatisfying point, none the less.
Jumping right in, we start the episode off with Peter next to his dead father. Nathan pops in, picking up where his father has left off, and lets Peter know he's going to have to pick a side. After some back and forth threats and gun pointing, Peter punches his brother in the face, knocking him out, and then heads to the lab. He attempts to convince Mohinder that they have to destroy the formula, but Mohinder seems fully on Nathan's side at this point (he's been so darned back and forth!) and also seems to need the formula to save his own life. Knox and Flint show up as well, appearing to be on Peter's side. They want the formula destroyed too, because the formula makes them less special. Hey, at least that makes sense and is a logical course of action, though now I'm really confused whether Peter is on the right side or not?

A company called RDRR Development is releasing a series of DVD's with in-depth interviews with some of our favorite writers in the television industry today. Each one runs about 50-60 minutes and feature such talent as Damon Lindelof (Lost), Phil Rosenthal (Everybody Loves Raymond), Doug Ellin (Entourage), Sam Simon (The Simpsons), and Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The interview with our nearest and dearest on this site -- the creator, executive producer and writer for Heroes, Tim Kring -- is now available at select stores and online at The Write Environment's webpage.
Created and hosted by screenwriter and journalist Jeffrey Berman, each episode of THE WRITE ENVIRONMENT takes viewers backstage into the here-to unseen world of the writer's room for intimate interviews that offer a rare look at these diverse writers and what inspires them.

Now that Pushing Daisies has been unfortunately canceled, it has freed up writer/producer/consultant Bryan Fuller and he has returned to Heroes to get it back to it's former glory. If you don't already know the name, with a resume of shows such as Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Star Trek: Voyager and Season One of Heroes, he is definitely a man who will make a difference on this show. He has been interviewed by Michael Ausiello at EW.com regarding the show and what about it needs to be fixed, other than "everything."

Kids, don’t get a flu shot when you’re already sick. I did just that last week and I became so ill I slept pretty much every hour my kid was in school or asleep. The rest of the time I stumbled around in a Dayquil-induced haze. This is why I somehow missed the humongous news that Heroes fired co-executive producers Jeph Loeb (pictured) and Jesse Alexander. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
Continued after the jump.

For as much grief as this season has been getting, I’m still excited as the 9 o’clock hour approaches every Monday night. I still want to know what’s going to happen, at least for about 80% of the characters on Heroes. This week, I feel a nice bit of vindication, as this was, by far, the best episode of this season up until now. In “Angels and Monsters,” we follow Claire as she hunts a Level 5 escapee who can create black holes. Peter makes a brief, but violent, appearance. Hiro and Ando explain to Adam what’s happening with the formula and ask him for his help, which leads to an interesting offer. Mohinder’s creepiness escalates. Nathan learns some more about his childhood. Sylar and Noah have another assignment.
There were a lot of details to this story. Each character and plotline had its up and down moments. See how I felt about it all by clicking on “Read More.”

This past week Heroes aired its third episode of the season, titled “One of Us, One of Them.” The title refers to the Company’s policy of having two field agents on a team; one with powers, and one without. I very much liked the episode. Once again, they gave me humor and action. There are some stories that are arcing in ways that are frustrating me, and others that I’m eating up.
